Licensed Associate Dentist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and have experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and executing treatment plans while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with dental staff to provide exceptional patient experiences in a friendly environment.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology related to patient care.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with treating children is essential.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and medical imaging techniques.
• Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
