About Us We're a private, patient-focused dental office with a loyal, established patient base built over years of trusted care. You'll walk into a full schedule of patients who already trust us, not a practice you have to build from scratch.

Position Summary We're seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive preventive care and patient education. You'll work alongside a supportive dental team with modern equipment and time to deliver quality care, not rush through appointments.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing Take and review radiographs and intraoral/extraoral images Conduct oral cancer screenings, periodontal assessments, and charting Educate patients on home care, nutrition, and preventive strategies Apply fluorides, sealants, and other preventive treatments as permitted by state law Document care accurately in patient records Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning and recommendations Maintain infection control and sterilization standards Build lasting relationships with recurring patients

Qualifications

Current state dental hygiene license (or eligible for licensure) Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Current CPR/BLS certification Local anesthesia certification (not a requirement, but a plus) Strong communication and chairside manner Comfortable with digital radiography and practice management software (Dentrix/Dexis) Experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply Bilingual is not a requirement, but an added plus (Spanish).
