Dental Hygienist
Job Description
About the Role Athens Family Dental is looking for a full time Dental Hygienist to join our team.
We are a family owned practice of over 35 years that is focused on quality over quantity and exceptional dental care.
We have a full time hygiene dentist checking our patients to reduce waiting times after cleanings. We also have two fulltime hygiene assistants helping with x-rays, seating, checks and cleaning operatories.
Work Schedule Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:45pm (12pm-1pm lunch) Fridays 8am - 2pm
Monday - Thursday 8am
Responsibilities:
Preform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance Complete scaling and root planing (SRP) as needed Preform periodontal charting and assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans
Requirements:
Active Georgia Dental Hygiene License (RDH) Active BLS certification Dental loupes with a light (not required but highly recommended) Great communication skills and working as a team with all parts of our hygiene department
Compensation: $45- $49 depending on level of experience
