We are hiring a Front Desk/Patient Care/Insurance Coordinator for a private dental office located in Lewisville. This role involves managing the front office, including greeting patients, handling phone calls, scheduling patients with a sense of urgency, dental insurance verification, treatment plan presentation, and payment collection. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for ensuring a positive patient experience. A warm & positive personality, Dental knowledge, Bilingual (Spanish) skills, and/or RDA are a big plus. The ability to maintain patient as well as team relationships are important. Decent math skills are also necessary.
Your typical day (Daily job duties):

You will greet patients and visitors in professional manner, engage in open communication to provide an overview of their visit, address their questions or concerns, process paperwork, verify dental insurance benefits/information, calling insurances for detailed benefit breakdown, knowledge of open dental software, and schedule appointments (with a sense of urgency)

Verify insurance for accurate co-pays and create treatment plans. Present these to patients, encourage case acceptance, and promote timely treatment (same day if possible). Obtain signatures for treatment plans and consent forms. Address payment inquiries and process in-office payments.

Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines

Coordinate discharge with the Lead RDA, providing patients with follow-up materials and post-op instructions

Assist with Dental administrative support tasks as needed - helping with billing, claims, patient satisfaction issues, payment entry into daily basis (accounts & ledgers)

Collaborate with Dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Maintain lobby and front office cleanliness and order.
Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingualism (English/Spanish), a minimum of one year of dental office experience, and one year of patient care or customer service experience are preferred. Intermediate to advanced computer skills and reliable transportation with availability for clinic hours are required.
