About the Role Dental Treatment Coordinator – Main Responsibilities -Explain the dentist’s treatment recommendations to patients. -Review treatment costs, insurance benefits, and payment options., do financing -Help patients understand and accept their treatment plans. -Schedule and coordinate treatment appointments. -Follow up with patients who have not scheduled treatment. -Coordinate communication between patients, dentists, and the dental team. -Handle insurance pre-authorizations and treatment estimates. -Document treatment plans, financial arrangements, and patient communications. -Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. -Provide excellent customer service and help patients feel comfortable with their treatment decisions.
