About the Role Our office is seeking full time position Dental assistant who is Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English in writing and speaking) to work at 8012 Howard Dr Houston TX 77017. Our office is growing and is in need of a second team player whom Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; Lead by example; exercise good team work; have mutual respect for team; partner with team to create an exceptional experience for patient. make the patient the #1 priority; excellent chair side manner! Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant includes but not limited to: Minimum of one year as a Dental Assistant, but will train right candidate without experience Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures Knows how to take good X-RAYS ( sensor experience preferred ) Greet and prepare patients for treatment Record patients’ medical and dental histories Know hot to take impressions and fabricate custom temporary crowns Pour, trim, and polish study cast models Have CPR certification ,X-Ray , RDA license Strong customer service and communication skills, team player ,be present, engaged, be flexible and ready to work at all assigned shift times Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart. Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance. Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job. Non Essential Functions: Clean and prepare operatory per organization procedures prior and after to patient's appointment Sterilize equipment and operatories per guidelines Follow all OSHA and BBP (Blood borne Pathogen) federal guidelines Assist staff in scheduling patients follow up visits Follow up with labs to ensure quality and timely products Track incoming and outgoing lab cases with staff. Our office is using open dental software. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday : 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 am to 6 pm .
