Dental Genius Assistant Academy & CPR is seeking an experienced and dependable Dental Assistant Instructor to join our instructional team in Arlington, TX.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the dental field and enjoys helping future Dental Assistants develop the skills and confidence needed to begin successful careers.

Position: Dental Assistant Instructor 📍 Location: Arlington, TX 💰 Pay: $100 per 3-hour instructional session 🗓 Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Available Sessions: (MUST BE ABLE TO TEACH MORNING & NIGHT CLASS) • Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM • Evening: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Instructor Responsibilities: • Provide classroom and hands-on dental assisting instruction • Demonstrate chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques • Teach infection control, sterilization, dental materials, radiology, charting, dental terminology, and related skills • Supervise students during hands-on laboratory activities • Prepare students for the Texas RDA examination • Monitor student attendance, participation, competencies, and academic progress • Provide additional guidance to students who need assistance • Reinforce professionalism and workplace expectations • Maintain a professional, organized, and safe learning environment • Communicate student concerns and classroom issues with administration

Ideal Candidate: • Experienced Dental Assistant with strong clinical knowledge • Confident demonstrating hands-on dental assisting procedures • Professional, dependable, patient, and encouraging • Strong communication and leadership skills • Comfortable teaching adult learners with different learning styles • Able to maintain consistent attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled classes

What You'll Do • Deliver classroom and hands-on lab instruction in chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, dental radiography, infection control, sterilization, dental materials, charting, and dental terminology. • Demonstrate and supervise clinical procedures, including operatory setup/breakdown, instrument transfer, moisture control, impressions, coronal polishing, sealants, temporary restorations, and assisting with restorative procedures. • Train students to safely use dental equipment, including dental chairs/units, autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, radiography equipment, curing lights, suction systems, and dental instruments. • Maintain accurate student records by taking and entering attendance, recording grades, grading assignments and assessments, and documenting student competencies and academic progress in the school’s learning management system. • Evaluate student performance through quizzes, exams, hands-on competency assessments, and skills demonstrations; provide additional instruction or remediation when needed. • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional classroom and lab while enforcing school policies, infection-control standards, attendance requirements, and professional expectations.
