About the Role

As an Associate Dentist at Boca Center Dental, you will provide comprehensive general dentistry while contributing to the elevated standard of care that defines our practice. The ideal candidate combines sound clinical judgment with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a warm, professional chairside manner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, review diagnostic imaging, and diagnose oral health conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient needs, and informed preferences.
  • Provide preventive and restorative dentistry, including tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges, and other procedures within your training and clinical competence.
  • Evaluate dental emergencies and provide appropriate treatment or referrals.
  • Explain treatment options, benefits, risks, and alternatives clearly to support informed patient decisions.
  • Educate patients on preventive care, oral hygiene, and maintaining long-term oral health.
  • Coordinate care with dental hygienists, dental assistants, administrative staff, and other treating providers.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and obtain appropriate informed consent.
  • Follow applicable Florida dental laws, professional standards, infection control protocols, and patient privacy requirements.
  • Help create a comfortable, attentive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree.
  • Active Florida dental license in good standing before beginning patient care.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification appropriate for dental practice.
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication, treatment presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Attention to detail and a professional approach to patient service.
  • Experienced dentists preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

  • Comprehensive general and restorative dentistry.
  • Cosmetic dentistry, including veneers and smile enhancement.
  • Crowns, bridges, and implant restorations.
  • Digital dental workflows and dental practice management software.
  • Caring for patients with dental anxiety and building lasting patient relationships.
