Job Description
We’re seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team full time in Gig Harbor, Washington. If you’re passionate about whole body health, love building patient relationships, enthusiastic about learning and improving every day, and want to work in a collaborative practice, we would love to hear from you. We are a well established small private practice with one doctor and a supportive team.
As a Dental Hygienist, you play a key part in patient’s health. You’ll work closely with Dr. Rogers and team to ensure every visit provides the highest level of care. If you want to change the trajectory of a patient’s health and are open to evidence based effective methods of treatment we have an exciting opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
· Patient care: build caring relationships with patients and provide high-quality periodontal therapy with the goal of achieving health
· Collect data: review medical history, take diagnostic radiographs and accurate periodontal charting
· Patient education: explain the connection between oral health and whole body health and take the time to discuss and show patients strategies on how they can improve their health
· Work as a team: collaborate with Dr. Rogers and staff in treatment planning and maintaining the office function and flow
· Adhere to OSHA regulations and CDC guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Dental Hygiene License
- Local anesthesia cerification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- High interest in continuing education
- Attention to detail
- A positive, team‑oriented mindset
