Join our dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! We are looking for an RDH to work 3 days a week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for a total of 23 hours per week.
This position is an Assisted Hygiene Position, with two patients an hour. Dental Assistants will set up, clean up, and take X-rays for you. There is the potential to earn up to $90 an hour.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using systems like OpenDental ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Support infection prevention measures by adhering to aseptic techniques, sterilization protocols, and infection control guidelines in accordance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures and local anesthesia
- Proven experience in general dentistry environments
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Open Dental for documentation and records management
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment operation
- Skilled in patient care, client communication, and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA compliance standards
- Experience with imaging techniques including X-ray procedures and dental coding practices is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills for documentation review, medical records management, and EMR/EHR system use
- Commitment to healthcare infection prevention and control practices along with a thorough understanding of medical assessment protocols
