About the Role:
Carimi Dental and Sedation is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in beautiful Daniel Island, SC! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, patient-focused practice where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's lives every single day.

Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for a diverse patient base
Work with doctor to conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and cancer screenings
Take and review dental X-rays and document findings accurately in patient records
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care routines, and preventive strategies
Collaborate closely with dentists to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans
Maintain a clean, sterile, and compliant treatment environment following OSHA and infection control standards
Requirements:
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of South Carolina
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience with dental practice management software preferred
Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put anxious patients at ease
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
