Job Description
At Vista Family Dentistry, we strive to provide high quality general dental care to the entire family in a comfortable and friendly environment, and are looking for a motivated and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private dental practice. The right candidate will be a team player, and passionate about working with patients of all ages.
This position can be flexible for 1-2 days (9-18 hours) per week (choice of Monday/Tuesday/Thursday), with the potential for additional hours in the future.
One-year of clinical experience is preferred, but we are most interested in finding someone whose personality, values, and approach to patient care align with our team.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Providing preventive and periodontal care for adult and pediatric patients
- Creating a comfortable, positive, and personalized patient experience
- Taking diagnostic digital radiographs and maintaining accurate clinical notes
- Educating patients and helping them understand their oral health
- Using proper infection control protocols to maintain and turn over your operatory
- Collaborating with the doctor and clinical team to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene (RDH)
- Current Wisconsin state license as a Dental Hygienist
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
