Competitive pay
Hours: flexible- part or full time
Office Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm; Fridays, 7 am to 2 pm

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing a variety of dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while ensuring patient comfort.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with chairside duties during procedures to support the dentist as needed.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.
Skills
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control measures.
- Experience with EMR systems for documentation review and medical coding.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
