Job Description
Are you a dependable and experienced Dental Assistant looking for a part-time position in a collaborative periodontal practice?
We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to support our hygienists with the day-to-day clinical needs of our practice. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a periodontal environment.
Responsibilities
Assists hygienists with daily patient care and clinical procedures
Prepare and set up treatment rooms and instruments
Perform dental radiographic imaging
Assist with periodontal charting and clinical documentation
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked operatories
Turn over rooms efficiently between patients
Assist with sterilization and infection-control procedures
Help ensure hygienists have the supplies and equipment needed throughout the day
Provide a warm friendly experience for patients
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant-CDA (Required)
Current Indiana X-Ray Certification (Required)
Minimum of 2-3 years of dental experience preferred
Experience in a Periodontal Practice is a plus, but we will train
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Able to work independently while being a supportive team member
Positive attitude and professional chairside manner
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Schedule
Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
Monday 7:45AM-1:00PM, Thursday 7:45AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:45AM-3:00PM
Reliable attendance and consistent availability are essential
Compensation
