Job Description
About us
Our practice philosophy is centered on providing patient-centered, doctor-delivered conservative orthodontic care. At Tri-Valley Orthodontics we know it starts and ends with having the right people around you. We know that happy people do good work. We love helping our patients achieve their beautiful smiles together. We work hard and have fun doing it!
OVERVIEW:
Our family orthodontics practice is seeking a friendly, dependable DA or Clinical Assistant (no dental experience necessary for the Clinical Assistant position) to join our team!
While some dental or orthodontic experience is preferred we prioritize having the right attitude, energy and heart - and we're willing to train the right person for the position.
DA applicants must have a current DA license. For the Clinical Assistant position - a DA license is _not _required as we'll be training you with basic clinical procedures such as seating patients, preparing trays, cleaning chairs, sterile, retainer fabrication etc - for the right candidate after 1 year of experience with our office, we'll cover the expenses to get you credentialed with x-ray and infection control certifications to obtain your DA certification.
The bottom line: We are a family-owned orthodontics practice focused on providing excellent care for our patients in a fun, warm & comfortable environment. We're seeking the right individual for a long-term position (we also encourage pre-dental or pre-hygiene students who have a minimum of 2 years available to work with our team - to apply), with potential for growth with our practice.
ABOUT OUR TEAM:
Both our team and our patients are like family to us, and our office is known for it's personable, warm and friendly environment. Our patient flow is limited to 4 chairs ensuring quality control at each appointment. Our priority is to provide excellent compassionate orthodontic care for our patient family.
We prioritize providing excellent customer service, and are seeking a team member who has a passion for people - who truly enjoys interacting with and helping our patients achieve their beautiful smiles.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
You'll also be working both with our Orthodontists and our clinical team in the back office with clinical orthodontic work - working on patients, doctor chair-side assisting, photos, x-rays, taking digital scans (iTero), sterilization, clean-up/set-up and fabrication of clear retainers.
DETAILS:
Working hours will vary based on the candidate's experience (full and part-time positions available). Office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays (full or half days available), two Thursdays a month from 2-6 pm, and one Saturday per month (usually on the 3rd Sat of each month) from 8 am - 1 pm. Additional hours/days are available for the right candidate after clinical training/credentialing is complete.
