Experienced Dental CAD/CAM Designer – 3Shape

Established Dental Laboratory | Brooklyn, New York

We are an established dental laboratory in Brooklyn, New York, with 36 years of experience, and we are looking for an experienced Dental CAD/CAM Designer to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable professional with strong experience using 3Shape and digital dental technology. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, collaborating with others, and taking pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Design dental restorations using 3Shape
• Design custom implant abutments for all major implant systems
• Design complex and full-contour cases with a strong understanding of proper fit, function, and aesthetics
• Work on anterior aesthetic cases with excellent attention to esthetics and detail
• Operate and properly load dental milling machines
• Operate and maintain digital 3D printers
• Mill zirconia and other appropriate materials
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on milling machines and digital printers as necessary
• Work closely with other members of the laboratory to ensure cases are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain an organized and efficient digital workflow
• Be willing to learn new technologies, techniques, and systems as our laboratory continues to grow

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience with 3Shape is required
• Strong experience designing custom implant abutments
• Knowledge of multiple implant systems
• Experience operating and loading dental milling machines
• Experience with digital dental printers
• Strong knowledge of zirconia milling
• Experience with anterior aesthetic cases
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good understanding of digital dental workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology
• Excellent English communication skills

Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Salary: $30 — 40 per hr

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
