Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of patient information.
Assist in infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Measure and record vital signs as required during patient assessments.
Collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans and procedures.
Utilize dental software Eaglesoft for patient management.
