DownEast Pediatric Dentistry is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant / Receptionist to our team in Brunswick, Maine.

This unique hybrid role combines front desk administrative responsibilities with clinical support, helping ensure a smooth patient experience and efficient office flow. This is an exciting opportunity to help build our new Brunswick location from the ground up while becoming part of a supportive, family-owned pediatric dental practice dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality (HIPAA/OSHA compliance)
  • Support both clinical and administrative duties, including patient charting, histories, scheduling, and payment processing
  • Assist the dentist with instruments, supplies, equipment, and treatment room preparation
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic x-rays and maintain sterilization standards
  • Handle financial clerical tasks and balance transactions accurately
  • Work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused environment
