Responsibilities
Welcome patients and families to the office with professionalism and warmth
Conduct pre- and post operative consultations
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort and reassurance
Select, prepare, and arrange instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC standards
Assist dentists chairside using 4-handed dentistry techniques
Complete lab-related tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post operative care instructions
Maintain clean, stocked, and organized operatories
Schedule patient appointments and manage accurate records
Collaborate with the team and perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Attributes
Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control procedures
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a clinical setting
Proficiency with dental office software and scheduling systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members
Organized, detail oriented, and dependable
Thrives in a busy, team-focused environment
Additional certifications such as N2O administration a plus
Bilingual abilities a plus
