We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) team in California. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment. This role supports our providers in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with California regulations.
What You'll Do
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards
• Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance
• Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience
What You'll Bring
Required: • X-ray certification (California compliant)
• CPR/BLS certification (California compliant)
• Infection Control (California compliant)
• California Dental Practice Act (California compliant)
Preferred: • Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Experience with Denticon or similar dental software
