About the Role
Mason Dental is looking for a detail-oriented dental assistant who takes pride in precise work and in how patients feel in the chair. This role centers on two areas: assisting during surgical procedures, and helping build the treatment plans that guide each patient’s care.
You’re the assistant who double-checks the setup before the doctor asks, documents everything clearly, and keeps a nervous patient calm through a long appointment. You care about getting the details right because you know those details are what patients experience as excellent care.
What You'll Do
• Treatment planning and presentation
• Assist doctors in the chair
• Surgical planning and preparation
• Surgical assisting
What You'll Bring
Required: • Hands-on experience assisting with surgical procedures (extractions, implants, grafting, or similar)
• Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certificate
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Working knowledge of Dentrix, including entering treatment plans
• Comfort with digital radiography, CBCT, and digital impressions
• A careful, organized approach: you notice what others miss and you follow through
Preferred: • CEREC experience
• Texas nitrous oxide monitoring certificate
• Experience with sleep apnea appliance cases
