Associate Dentist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
• Provide specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery procedures with precision and care.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnosis and treatment plans effectively with patients and team members.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records using electronic health record system, Open Dental.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist.
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental office software such as Open Dental
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and medical records management.
• Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
