Gentle Dental Albany Children's is looking for a compassionate, energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team!

Position Details
Position: Pediatric Dental Assistant
Schedule: Part-Time
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Gentle Dental Albany Children's

What You'll Do
Assist pediatric dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures
Help children feel comfortable and supported throughout their visits
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
Take radiographs and other diagnostic records as permitted by Oregon regulations
Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care and a positive office experience
Qualifications
Current Oregon Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Expanded Functions Preventive Dental Assistant (EFPDA) certification
Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, compassionate approach to working with children
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
Additional qualifications that may increase starting pay:
Previous pediatric dental assisting experience
X-ray certification, as applicable
Bilingual in English and Spanish
