Entry-Level Orthodontic Sterilization Technician

This position starts with instrument sterilization and supporting the assistants so the clinic runs smoothly. The position is a “training ground” to see if you are ready to advance and become a chairside orthodontic assistant through paid, on-the-job training. For the right person, this is the first step toward a rewarding career.

Our 5-tier development program provides a clear path from sterilization tech to chairside assisting. Advancement is based on demonstrated skills, readiness, reliability, and initiative. Motivated team members who consistently apply themselves advance quickly in our office!.
We also support earning your Orthodontic Assistant Permit after one year, with the cost paid by AMO.
Where You’ll Start
- Clean and sterilize instruments and maintain infection control logs
- Set up and break down orthodontic chairs efficiently
- Keep clinical areas clean, stocked, organized, and ready for patients
- Support the clinical team and help keep the day moving smoothly
What You’ll Learn as You Advance
Through hands-on training, you’ll develop skills in patient records, 3D scanning, retainer and appliance fabrication, retainer and DentalMonitoring kit delivery, and chairside orthodontic assisting.
You’ll work with the most advanced orthodontic technology—including 3D scanners, printers, and digital records. We have an amazing team that will help you succeed.
Pay, Benefits & Schedule
- Starting pay: $18/hour, with clear steps for growth
- Monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance bonuses
- Medical insurance after 90 days
- 401(k) with contributions and profit sharing after one year
- 40 hours of sick leave; PTO begins accruing after one year
- No evenings or weekends, except one required team marketing event per year
