Dental Hygienist

About the Role
We're a family dental practice serving patients of all ages, in a standalone building on almost an acre of garden. We're looking for one or two hygienists to cover five days a week, and you can work as many or as few of those days as you like.

We pay a per diem of $480 a day.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Choose 1 to 5 days, in any combination.

What you'll do:

• Prophies, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Laser bacterial reduction (LBR) and laser-assisted periodontal therapy (LAPT)
• X-rays, perio charting, and oral cancer screenings
• Patient education and helping patients understand their treatment plans
• Keeping clear, accurate notes in Dentrix

What we're looking for:

• An active California RDH license
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Laser certification for LBR and LAPT
• California local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification preferred
• A warm, patient-focused attitude
