Job Summary

Peace Dental in Glenshaw, PA, is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This part-time position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a positive and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to promoting oral health through patient education, thorough cleanings, and effective communication.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including dental cleanings and periodontal assessments
• Perform dental x-rays and ensure proper imaging techniques are followed
• Educate patients on dental health, oral hygiene practices, and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and explain procedures using appropriate dental terminology
• Operate and maintain dental equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist in creating a comfortable environment for patients during their visits
• Support the dental team with other clinical duties as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations

Requirements

• Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Pennsylvania
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting
• Proficiency in performing dental x-rays and understanding of dental terminology
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively
• Knowledge of dental equipment operation and maintenance
• Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care and comfort
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
