Associate Dentist
Job Description
This is more than just another associate position!
You'll join a respected private practice with an established reputation, modern technology, an experienced team, and real opportunity for professional and financial growth. And your schedule won't be empty: we average 65+ new patients a month and care for 4,727 active patients.
Who we're looking for
A dentist who likes to think outside the box and enjoys endodontics and oral surgery. If you want to keep those cases in-house instead of referring them out, you'll have the patient flow, the team, and the technology to do it. New grads with a strong clinical foundation are encouraged to apply, as are experienced dentists. Relocating from outside the area is a plus.

- A team that makes your day easier. Our assistants, front office, and hygienists have years of experience, and many have been with us a long time.
- Modern technology. A 10-operatory facility with iTero digital scanning, Waterlase® laser, Invisalign®, digital workflows, and Dentrix.
- Room to grow. We invest in continuing education and advanced tools.
- A great place to live. Ridgefield is a fast-growing community with strong schools, abundant outdoor recreation, and easy access to Portland.

$100,000 – $350,000 per year, with a competitive compensation package:
- Health insurance with option for HSA
- Dental benefits
- 401(k) with matching and profit sharing
- Paid continuing education
- Costco membership
- A supportive, experienced team committed to your success
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry for patients of all ages: exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative, and preventive care
- Use digital workflows to deliver efficient, high-quality care and a great patient experience
- Educate patients and build lasting relationships that support practice growth
- Keep accurate, timely documentation in Dentrix Ascend
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, and take part in team meetings
- Follow clinical, infection control, and safety protocols, and pursue continuing education
What you bring
- DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
- Current, unrestricted Washington State dental license and DEA registration
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative, and preventive care
- Warm chairside manner and a patient-centered approach
- Proficiency in, or real interest in, digital dentistry (iTero, Invisalign®, laser, Dentrix)
- A teamwork mindset, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and integrity
- Private practice experience preferred, but not required
