Job Description

Description:

Experienced Associate Orthodontist – Lake Jackson/Houston, TX

Two Established Brands | One Exceptional Opportunity

Full-Time | Average 4 to 5-Day Workweek | 2+ Years of Experience Preferred

For Orthodontists Who Love What They Do—and Are Ready to Do More of It.
Some orthodontists thrive in a steady, predictable clinical environment. Others love the energy of a busy practice, the challenge of complex cases, the satisfaction of a productive day, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for more patients. We’re looking for the latter. Southern Orthodontic Partners is seeking an experienced, clinically confident Orthodontist to join two established orthodontic practices in the Lake Jackson. Pearland, & Bellaire, Texas areas, working alongside the highly accomplished Dr. Kathleen McGrory and Dr. Kevin McGrory.

This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor who has developed strong clinical skills, enjoys an active patient schedule, and is ready to bring their expertise to a well-established practice environment. With an average 4 to 5-day clinical workweek, you’ll have the opportunity to build a rewarding career, enjoy strong earning potential, and work alongside doctors who have dedicated their careers not only to practicing orthodontics—but also to advancing the profession.

Two Practices. Exceptional Clinical Expertise. One Opportunity to Stand Out.
What makes this opportunity different? The doctors you’ll work alongside. Dr. Kathleen McGrory and Dr. Kevin McGrory bring an extraordinary depth of experience to orthodontics, combining years of clinical practice with academic leadership, teaching, and professional development. Both have been involved in educating future orthodontists through the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.

Dr. Kathleen McGrory has served in academic leadership, including holding the Dan C. West Endowed Chair Professorship in Orthodontics and serving as Clinical Director of Orthodontics. She has also lectured nationally and internationally and contributed to published orthodontic education. Dr. Kevin McGrory is a board-certified orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics who has helped train orthodontic residents in clinical care. Together, they bring a shared commitment to clinical excellence, lifelong learning, and exceptional patient outcomes.

For the right orthodontist, this is an opportunity to practice alongside doctors who have helped shape the next generation of the profession. A Busy Practice Is Where You Do Your Best Work.
We recognize that not every orthodontist is looking for the same clinical environment. This opportunity is ideally suited for a doctor with at least two years of clinical orthodontic experience who is comfortable managing a larger patient volume while maintaining excellent treatment quality and an outstanding patient experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

Enjoys a productive, fast-paced clinical day
Is confident making independent treatment decisions
Can efficiently manage multiple patients and varying treatment needs
Maintains exceptional clinical standards, even during a busy schedule
Communicates clearly and builds confidence with patients and parents
Knows how to work collaboratively with clinical assistants and support teams
Balances clinical efficiency with thoughtful, personalized care
We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to see more patients. We’re looking for someone who knows how to care for more patients exceptionally well.

Experience the Best of Both Worlds
Imagine having the opportunity to practice in two established orthodontic environments, collaborate with accomplished doctors, and care for an existing patient population—without having to build a practice from the ground up. You’ll benefit from the unique culture and patient relationships of each practice while having access to the broader resources of Southern Orthodontic Partners. You’ll also have the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss treatment approaches, and continue developing professionally in an environment that values both clinical independence and collaboration. Whether you’re refining your clinical efficiency, expanding your experience, or simply looking for a more rewarding practice environment, this position offers the chance to continue growing as an orthodontist.

Your Clinical Skills Deserve a Strong Platform. You’ve invested years developing your expertise. Now imagine putting that expertise to work in an environment where:

The patients are established. Step into existing practices with patient demand and the opportunity to contribute from the beginning.

Your experience is valued. Bring your clinical judgment, efficiency, and treatment philosophy to a collaborative doctor environment.

Your productivity can be rewarded. Enjoy competitive compensation with the opportunity to increase earnings through a production-based bonus structure.

Your professional growth continues. Work alongside orthodontists with extensive clinical and academic experience.

Your time is focused on patient care. Southern Orthodontic Partners provides support across business operations, recruiting, marketing, HR, and administrative functions.

Your future has possibilities. Eligible doctors may have access to a long-term investment opportunity designed to create value beyond clinical compensation.

We’re looking for a doctor who values consistency, enjoys staying clinically engaged, and appreciates the opportunity to develop strong relationships with patients and teams across two established locations. The schedule is designed to meet patient demand while offering the opportunity for meaningful clinical productivity and long-term professional growth.
