Under the direction of the Dental Director, the Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality dental care to patients, both preventive and restorative care. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with staff, patients, families and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.

Graduate from an approved School of Dentistry, with a doctoral degree (DDS or DMD)

· Valid Mississippi Dental License

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

· Ability to continuously use sound analytical thinking in providing patient care

· Ability to reason in the practice of Dentistry

· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to deal effectively with patient and staff emergencies
