Endodontic Dental Assistant

Winston-Salem Dental Specialists is looking for an Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. We built our reputation on exceptional care and treating every team member with the same respect we give our patients.

What You'll Do

• Chairside assisting during root canals, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures

• Set up and break down operatories with endo-specific instruments and materials

• Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT scans

• Assist with the dental microscope and ultrasonic units

• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols

• Provide patient comfort and education, especially for anxious patients

• Assist with sedation monitoring as needed

• Maintain patient records and coordinate with referring offices

What We're Looking For

• Dental assisting experience required; endodontic experience strongly preferred

• Current NC X-ray certification or ability to obtain

• CPR/BLS certification

• Comfortable with digital radiography and CBCT imaging
