Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Job Description
Orthodontic Assistant — Luma Orthodontics
Stamford, CT | $17.50-25 per hour
Build your career while helping us build Luma.
Luma Orthodontics is looking for a motivated, friendly person to become part of our growing practice. We want someone who enjoys connecting with patients, takes pride in their work, and is excited to contribute to a new office.
New to orthodontics? We’re willing to train. Have experience? We’d love your knowledge and ideas. What matters most is being reliable, taking initiative, and showing up ready to learn.
Your day will include getting patients comfortable, assisting during orthodontic appointments, preparing instruments and treatment areas, and helping capture photos and digital scans. You’ll also help patients understand how to care for their smiles and keep the office running efficiently. X-ray duties will depend on appropriate certification.
You’ll fit in well if you:
- Bring a positive attitude and treat patients with patience and kindness.
- Stay organized and notice when something needs to be done.
- Work well with others and welcome feedback.
- Want to develop your skills and take on more responsibility over time.
Dental or orthodontic experience, X-ray certification, and familiarity with Ortho2 or iTero are helpful, but experience is not required to apply.
At Luma, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, learn directly alongside the orthodontist, and grow with the practice.
Hours: 3–4 days per week, Monday–Friday and Sundays; 8-hour shifts are available.
Compensation: $17.50-25 per hour, depending on experience.
Location: Stamford, CT — in person.
Send your résumé and a few sentences about yourself. We’d love to hear what you’re looking for in your next opportunity.
