Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Job Overview
Private Practice Full-Time RDA, up to $35/hr

We are a privately owned and thriving orthodontic office in Moorestown, NJ and are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic RDA to join our team. Hours and Benefits:

• MTWF, 1 Saturday per month (during the school year)
• Small privately owned practice (not corporation)
• Base compensation: $32-35/hr
• PTO, Retirement pay match

Duties

• Assist orthodontists during various procedures including bracket placement, adjustments, and appliance fittings
• Takes X-rays and intraoroal scans
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques
• Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix, or Epic while ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure all clinical areas are sterile and organized
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive care

Requirements

• RDA
• Orthodontic Dental Assistant experience is strongly preferred!
• Certification in radiography or X-ray certification is REQUIRED!
