As a Dental Assistant, you’ll provide exceptional chairside support while helping patients throughout every stage of their treatment experience.

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming, positive experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist periodontist during periodontal surgery, dental implant placement, extractions, bone grafting, soft tissue procedures and much more.
• Take and assist with alginate impressions.
• Educate patients on treatment plans including various periodontal procedures, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and CBCT scans.
• Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization standards by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Support daily office operations, including maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification a plus not mandatory
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care
• 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• Experience assisting with IV Sedation, extractions, dental implants and other surgical procedures a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
