You will be the heartbeat of our scheduling process, coordinating appointments and managing patient interactions with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in Dental Terminology and Dentrix Ascend or similar Dental Software will empower you to deliver exceptional service to both patients and staff.

What you’ll do

• The Dental Schedule Coordinator’s main responsibility is to engineer, monitor, and manage the dental schedule for multiple providers ensuring a smooth patient experience. Principle Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Schedule, confirm, and fill patient appointments, including cancellations and reschedules, to keep the schedule full.
• Understand Dental procedures and terminology for accurate scheduling and treatment coordination.
• Coordinate daily schedules with treatment needs and available times.
• Present and explain treatment plans; assist patients in planning and prioritizing there treatment plan.
• Verify Dental Insurance information and educate patients on benefits.
• Perform pre-authorizations and patient follow-up.
• Provide an exceptional patient experience by scheduling patients properly and promptly.
• Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment.
• Answer incoming calls, including new patient inquiries, emergencies, records requests, and follow-ups.
• Work closely with clinical and front office staff to ensure smooth patient care flow.
• Perform other general front office duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Scheduling Coordinator.
• 2+ years of experience working with a Dental Software (Dentrix Ascend or similar preferred).
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with doctors, staff, and patients under varying conditions.
• Customer service orientation and pleasant demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Authorized to work for any Employer in the US.
