Job Description: As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic practice. You will assist the orthodontist during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the orthodontist during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
• Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Ensuring patients are comfortable and providing support throughout their visit.
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions.
• Managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
• Performing routine laboratory tasks, including pouring and trimming models.
• Maintaining a clean and sterile environment in the dental office.
• Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Prior experience as an orthodontic dental assistant.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and radiographic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using dental software and computer systems.
