We are looking for an energetic, empathetic, and organized Treatment Coordinator to help our patients' families navigate their dental care journeys with confidence.

Position Overview

As the Treatment Coordinator, you are the bridge between clinical recommendations and a family’s peace of mind. Your primary role is to guide parents through their child's customized dental treatment plans, explain financial options, and schedule necessary appointments. You will turn complex dental terms into easy-to-understand language, ensuring parents leave our office feeling informed, supported, and excited about their child's oral health.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient & Parent Advocacy: Meet with parents after clinical exams to present treatment plans clearly, compassionately, and without judgment.
• Financial Coordination: Calculate patient co-pays, verify pediatric dental insurance benefits, and present clear payment options (including third-party financing like CareCredit if applicable).
• Scheduling Excellence: Manage the treatment schedule, seamlessly booking follow-up care, sedation appointments, or OR cases while maximizing the doctor's time.
• Insurance Navigation: Submit pre-authorizations to insurance companies and track claims to ensure families get the maximum benefits available.
• Follow-Up Management: Proactively reach out to families with pending treatment plans to answer outstanding questions and help them get back on the schedule.
• Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with pediatric dentists, assistants, and front desk staff to maintain a smooth, positive patient flow.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a dental office (pediatric dental experience is a major plus!).
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dental practice management software (Open Dental).
• Communication Stars: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to connect warmly with both anxious kids and protective parents.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong math and organizational skills to accurately calculate insurance splits and co-pays.
