Part-Time Pediatric Dentist — Hinsdale, IL (2 Tuesdays per Month)

Hinsdale Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an experienced pediatric dentist to join us part-time in downtown Hinsdale — two Tuesdays per month (every other Tuesday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM), starting anytime for the right fit.

A little about us: our orthodontic practice has served Hinsdale families since 1955, and we (Dr. Nick Riccio, board-certified orthodontist, and Dr. Susan Blair, dual board-certified in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics) purchased it in 2018. The pediatric dentistry side is new — Dr. Blair founded it a couple of years ago, and it is growing. Because Dr. Blair also runs our Lombard location, we need a pediatric dentist who can step in at Hinsdale and run the pediatric side on those Tuesdays.

Compensation: the greater of 35% of collections or $1,200 per day, whichever is higher, reconciled monthly — plus a growth kicker of 40% on the portion of a day's collections above $5,000. We want this role to reward someone who helps the practice grow.

You will not be on an island: you will have both owners accessible for mentoring, admin support, and help, plus an experienced, cross-trained team. But this is a role for a self-starter — someone who makes definitive clinical decisions, presents treatment confidently, works hand-in-hand with our orthodontic side (including referring to ortho when it serves the patient), and treats the practice a bit like their own. In return: predictable, light scheduling with no evenings or weekends; low-dose 3D CBCT (iCAT) and iTero; airway-forward care with orthodontics under the same roof; and a customer-service standard our families have known for decades. Over time, if it's a mutual fit, the role could grow toward two days per week — that's upside, not a requirement.

This is best suited to an experienced pediatric dentist with another practice or position who wants a rewarding supplemental role — possibly closer to home. (Not a new-graduate position; the role runs solo on its days.)
