Full-Time Dental Assistant/ Hygiene Assistant (Fast-Paced Dental Office)
Starting Salary: $35/hour
Location: Lewis Dental Group, PLLC, Murfreesboro, TN.

Position Overview: We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the hygienist and dentist during various dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and more. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. Prepare treatment rooms and materials for procedures. Provide chair-side support to patients, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Maintain patient records and update information as necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Qualifications: Current Dental Assistant license and EFDA required. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment. Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and using dental software. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
