About the Role
Treatment coordinator.

The Dental Treatment Coordinator manages patient treatment plans from case presentation through scheduling and payment. Acting as the main patient care coordinator, they educate patients about recommended care, obtain financial approvals, coordinate appointments, and ensure a smooth, compassionate patient experience while supporting the clinical team and practice revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Explain recommended treatment plans, procedures, costs, risks, benefits and alternatives to patients in clear, patient-friendly language.
Present payment options, collect deposits, and set up financing when needed.
Verify insurance benefits and estimate patient responsibility as needed.
Schedule and confirm treatment appointments; coordinate between clinical staff and patients to optimize chair time.
Track case acceptance and follow up on declined or postponed treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and document communications in the practice management system.

Work with providers to prioritize cases and refer specialty care when appropriate.
Support patient retention through timely follow-up and recall reminders.
Ensure compliance with privacy, billing and office policies.

Qualifications:
1–3 years experience in dental front-office or treatment coordination preferred.
Must have excellent sales ability with the ability to convert treatment presentations into confirmed, financed patient care while maintaining a patient-first, ethical approach.'
Strong verbal communication, active listening and customer-service skills.
Familiarity with dental terminology and practice management software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional, empathetic demeanor and ability to handle sensitive financial conversations.
High school diploma or equivalent; dental administrative certification a plus.

Compensation:
Annual salary of 41.6k , with potential for bonus up to 150 k +
