TrueSmiles Dental is a brand-new, privately owned dental practice opening in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. We're creating a modern, welcoming, and elevated dental experience where patients feel comfortable, valued, and genuinely cared for.

We're looking for a friendly, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist who is excited about joining a new practice from the beginning and helping us create an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough, gentle, patient-centered dental hygiene care.
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal charting, and periodontal maintenance.
• Assess periodontal health and assist with identifying treatment needs.
• Take dental radiographs as appropriate.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health.
• Collaborate closely with the dentist to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols.
• Help create a comfortable, welcoming environment for every patient.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist license (required).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Gentle, thorough, and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome.
• Experience with digital dental technology and practice management software is a plus.

Schedule

Part-Time — Initially Thursdays and Fridays

• Thursday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Scheduled meal breaks.
• As a newly established practice, we anticipate starting with Thursdays and Fridays, with opportunities for additional hours and days as our patient base grows.
