Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including routine cleanings, preventive treatments, and periodontal maintenance.

Conduct scaling and root planing (SRP) and other soft tissue management procedures.

Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease.

Perform periodontal charting and accurately document clinical findings.

Administer local anesthesia as permitted by applicable licensing and authorization.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.

Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to develop appropriate patient care plans.

Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Follow infection control, sterilization, and workplace safety protocols.

Create a welcoming, comfortable, and professional environment for patients.

Qualifications

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license – Required

Minimum of 1 year of dental hygiene experience – Required

Local anesthesia license or authorization.

Experience performing scaling and root planing (SRP) and periodontal therapy.

Strong understanding of periodontal health and soft tissue management.

Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Willingness to learn, develop clinical skills, and adapt to practice procedures.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality patient care.

Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative dental team.

Compensation & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $35.00 – $40.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
