Overview

Dental Assistant needed with bilingual in Spanish

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment; assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Support patient care by recording vital signs, preparing patients, and assisting with dental X-rays and other dental imaging as directed.
• Clean, process, and sterilize dental instruments using aseptic technique and established infection prevention and control procedures.
• Maintain medical records and documentation
• Assist with reception and patient management, communicate clearly using dental and medical terminology, and protect confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.

Experience

• Must have dental assisting degree with coronal polish certificate.
• Familiarity with chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, dental sterilization procedures, infection control, and healthcare infection prevention and control is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, dental equipment, dental X-rays, and 3D scanners is helpful.
• Bring a patient-focused approach, careful attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety and confidentiality procedures.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
