Tooth + Tongue Pediatric Dentistry and Airway Center in Walnut Creek is looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing pediatric and orthodontic practice!

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics
• Creating a fun, comfortable experience for children of all ages
• Taking digital X-rays and maintaining accurate patient records
• Using Dentrix practice management software for charting and clinical documentation
• Performing digital intraoral scans using our iTero scanner
• Preparing and turning over operatories efficiently
• Maintaining sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Assisting with orthodontic records, impressions/scans, and procedures
• Educating patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care
• Supporting the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly

Technology We Use

We're a modern, digitally equipped dental practice utilizing:

• Dentrix – Practice management, charting, and patient records
• iTero Digital Scanner – Digital impressions and orthodontic scanning
• Digital X-rays – Modern digital dental imaging

Experience with Dentrix, iTero, and digital radiography is highly preferred, but we're happy to train the right candidate who is enthusiastic, motivated, and a fast learner!

Qualifications

• Active California RDA license
• Current required certifications
• Pediatric or orthodontic dental experience preferred
• Experience with Dentrix, iTero, and digital X-rays is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
• A genuine love for working with children
