Dental Digital Lab Technician

About the Position

_*RENU Prosthodontics *_is a specialty practice focused on restorative, implant, and prosthetic dentistry. Our in-house lab combines traditional craftsmanship with digital scanning, computer-aided design, and 3D printing.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable team member who enjoys hands-on work and technology. This is a lab-only role, with no chairside or patient-care duties.

ResponsibilitiesModels & Bench Work

• Pour, trim, base, and mount stone models on articulators; prepare bite registrations and diagnostic models.

• Assist with denture processing (waxing, acrylic, trimming, finishing, polishing), plus repairs and adjustments as skills develop.

Digital & 3D Printing

• Prepare print files and run printers through washing, curing, and finishing.

• Produce models, surgical guides, nightguards, retainers, and dentures, and check them for quality.

• Maintain printing equipment and learn our design and lab software.

Case Management & Inventory

• Review upcoming patient schedules and track each case so it is ready before the appointment.

• Pull and prepare implant components and materials for scheduled procedures.

• Keep the clinical team updated on case status, missing parts, and deadlines.

• Manage lab inventory and keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.

Safety

• Complete OSHA/Cal-OSHA safety and infection control training, and follow lab protocols for PPE, disinfection, chemicals, and waste.

QualificationsRequired

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

• Good manual dexterity and comfort learning new software.

• Able to manage time, meet deadlines, and take initiative.

• Reliable, punctual, and a clear communicator.

Preferred

• Dental lab or dental office experience.

• Familiarity with implant components, dental materials, or denture processing.

• Experience with 3D printing, digital dental workflows, or case-tracking software.

No dental assisting license or prior lab experience required. We provide hands-on training in both traditional and digital techniques.
