For an agreement entered into before 6 August 2025, Colorado's dentist-specific void does not apply: a non-compete could bind only a highly compensated worker given separate advance notice, and physician non-competes were void; dentists were not named.

Generally unenforceable
Colorado voids non-competes and patient non-solicitation covenants for dentists, physicians and advanced-practice nurses regardless of income, for agreements entered into on or after 6 August 2025. Other workers may be bound only when highly compensated (about $130,000 in 2026) and given separate advance notice. Agreements signed before that date follow the earlier rule.
