Dentist non-compete rules in Louisiana

Louisiana allows non-competes only when the agreement lists the specific parishes or municipalities covered, for at most two years. A 2024 act, effective 1 January 2025, allows three to five years for physicians; the act does not define the word and does not mention dentists, so whether it reaches a dentist is an inference to confirm with Louisiana counsel.
