Pediatric Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and demonstrate expertise in various dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with the child patient to make them comfortable in the dental setting

• Communicate effectively with parents

• Perform exams to present your findings to the dentist

• Chart findings appropriately

• Take x-rays with hand-held device

• perform scaling, polishing and fluoride varnish

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care

• Maintain accurate patient records using DoxPedo or similar software

• Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54.00 - $60.00 per hour
