Dental Hygienist

We are a privately owned, family Dental Practice that has been in Fort Mill for 30 years! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PART TIME Dental Hygienist to join our team. We pride ourselves on our reputation and 30 years serving our family of patients!

We work Monday-Thursday! You will work closely with our dental team to provide exceptional oral care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. We schedule 1 hour hygiene recare appointments and 2 hour New Patient and periodontal scaling.

Duties:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and periodontal recares
• Take dental x-rays using Scan-X including full mouth series radiographs
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile working environment
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
