Maintain detailed dental records, including documentation of procedures, diagnoses, and billing information, adhering to confidentiality standards. Collaborate with dentists to verify dental records accuracy and ensure proper documentation for billing purposes. Monitor the revenue cycle from patient registration through final payment collection, identifying areas for process improvement. Stay updated on industry regulations such as dental coding and insurance policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Skills
Strong knowledge of Dental terminology, Dental billing practices, including CDT coding systems. Proven experience in dental billing processes and dental collections within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with dental management systems and platforms for efficient data entry and claim processing. Excellent understanding of dental records management and documentation standards. Ability to interpret complex insurance policies and navigate various payer requirements effectively. Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
