Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM Optional Fridays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (not required, but incentivized)

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient medical histories and take blood pressure
• Perform comprehensive intraoral and extraoral examinations, including oral cancer screenings
• Conduct periodontal assessments and maintain accurate documentation and charting
• Develop and implement individualized dental hygiene treatment plans
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures
• Demonstrate advanced periodontal instrumentation techniques
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Provide nutritional counseling and tobacco cessation education
• Apply topical fluoride varnish and dental sealants
• Capture intraoral photographs and digital radiographs
• Interpret radiographic findings and communicate concerns appropriately
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Acquire iTero scans
• Send correspondence to specialists, such as periodontists

Qualifications

• Current Kansas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
• Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene (or higher)
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Compassionate, friendly, and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
• Experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
